Yes, every child is offered a setting in sessions which takes place two weeks before their start date. Children will normally attend between 2-4 settling in sessions depending on their age. The initial settling in session is where you will stay with your child and spend time together to meet the staff and discuss your child's needs and routine. The length of the following settling in sessions will depend on their age, booking pattern and how they adapt to nursery and will be discussed with you prior to arranging suitable dates together.
Yes, every 3 and 4 year old child can claim 15 hours of funded nursery education (increasing to 30 hours if you are eligible) from the term after their third birthday. Some 2 year old children may also be eligible for 15 hours of funded nursery education, this is based on a criteria list. For further information parents can call and we will be happy to discuss how funded childcare is applied at our nursery in Cheltenham.
No, you don't pay extra for meals and snacks, these are all inclusive within the fees. We provide a healthy menu offering breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack and tea. If your child has a specific dietary requirement or is a 'fussy' eater our staff will work with you to ensure your child's needs are met. Unfortunately due to allergies within the nursery we are unable to accept food or packed lunches to be brought into the nursery instead of our menu.
Also included in our nursery fees are nappies, wet wipes, nappy creams. Cows milk will be provided for children over the age of 1 year but we do ask that parents provide any formula milk required throughout the day.
