Current positions
- Early Years Teacher / curriculum lead, working 44 hours per week
(This post is suitable for teachers EYT, EYPS or QTS, seeking a enthusiastic, creative and committed Teacher to lead our curriculum across the nursery and be based within our Pre-school room working alongside the Room Leader)
- Full and Part Time Qualified Practitioners, working 30 – 44 hours per week
(Minimum qualification requirement Early Years Education Level 2, previous experience of working in a children’s day nursery setting)
- Nursery apprentice for our Baby Room (0-16 months), working 25 hours per week
The Role
You will be joining a dedicated, friendly, and supportive company where the senior leadership team are committed to supporting your continued personal development. Main responsibilities include working closely with our team to provide the highest level of care for nursery children. You will be working to maximise the learning potential of children whilst working towards positive outcomes.
We are looking for team members with a passion for working in childcare and are caring. You will need to be flexible towards working hours and days, a hard worker and team a team player.
Required Qualifications For Qualified Roles:
- NVQ Level 3 in Early Years and Education ( not required for the apprentice roles)
- Paediatric first aid certificate (in date)
- Safeguarding Certificate
(In relation to the Department of Education Early Years Qualification List, Health and Social Care training is not considered to be a full and relevant qualification for the EYFS and Health and Social Care Qualifications will not be considered for this role)
The Ideal Candidate will have the following:
- Experience of working in a children’s day nursery
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to observe and records children’s progress
- Good IT skills in order to carry out recording the children’s daily information on our online portal
- Enthusiasm and a passionate approach to early years development
- Skills to deliver high quality childcare
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the EYFS
- All applications require 2 references and the successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure (DBS)
